Rhyme Psycho-Neuro Therapy Clinic was founded in 2023 by Ms. Erfaneh Razavipour, a social work researcher and registered psychotherapist based in Ontario. With over 15 years of experience working with diverse communities—particularly migrants and newcomers—her work has consistently focused on trauma, identity, and psychological adjustment in the context of displacement and resettlement.
Ms. Razavipour brings a strong academic foundation to her clinical practice. She has taught at McGill University, contributed to peer-reviewed publications, and remains actively engaged in research on mental health, migration, and neurofeedback. This academic grounding has shaped her commitment to evidence-based, ethically grounded, and culturally responsive care.
Clinically, Rhyme Clinic is grounded primarily in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which forms the core therapeutic framework of Ms. Razavipour’s practice. While drawing on integrative and trauma-informed approaches as needed, CBT is the main modality used to help clients understand the relationship between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and to build practical skills for emotional regulation and resilience.
Recognizing the limitations of psychotherapy alone for some clients, Ms. Razavipour pursued advanced training in neurofeedback. This led to the development of Rhyme Clinic’s integrated model, combining evidence-based psychotherapy with neurofeedback to support both emotional healing and cognitive functioning.
Today, Rhyme Clinic is among the few centers in Ontario offering this combined psychotherapy and neurofeedback approach, with a particular focus on trauma-related conditions, migration-related stress, and complex emotional difficulties.
